Wolters Kluwer highlights sustainable options for Earth Day
Wolters Kluwer takes sustainability seriously. In 2015, the company introduced “a framework for sustainable innovation focused on economic, social, and environmental impact,” which contributes to the planet’s wellbeing all year round. However, for Earth Day (which was 22 April) the company has released the Wolters Kluwer Sustainability Data Report, naming CCH Axcess (which it adopted from subsidiary Aspen Publishing) for “helping professional tax preparation clients reduce their use of paper with a modular cloud-based tax solution”.

Karen Abramson, Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting’s CEO, said: “Identifying economic, social and environmental innovations are critical to the success of our business and the business of our clients. Globally recognized events like Earth Day are an opportunity for us to take pride in, and celebrate, our culture of innovation that is grounded in sustainable development.”
Wolters Kluwer listed a number of products that let accountants, auditors and tax professionals make “sustainable choices that have a deep impact on society”. They include: CCH Tagetik, CCH AnswerConnect, CCH iFirm, and TeamMate.
As sustainability becomes every more fundamental in offices around the world, Wolters Kluwer is emerging as a market leader for tax and accounting teams. The importance of sustainability to business goes beyond simple PR – minimizing resources used while generating the same-or-greater levels of productivity is just more efficient. And, as a result, it is here to stay.
