Carnival Cruise Line updates HUB app with more great features
Carnival Cruise Line’s free HUB app is geared towards making cruisers time at sea easier, more social, and more fun. It’s a free download that lets you chat with other passengers on the ship, and offers access to speedy updates about what’s going on where. The app is a remarkably useful feature on Carnival’s vessels, and it is perhaps one we should expect to see the company make more of, given its predilection for technological innovation.

A host of new features have been rolled out to Carnival’s popular HUB app, including the ability to view on-ship dining menus directly on your phone, check the weather particular to your sailing, search deck plans, find on-ship friends and family to connect with online, find information like where to get dining attire easily, and a new fresh homepage that offers easy access to latest updates on the ship.
On some ships, Carnival has even toyed with direct sales to sailors. Depending which vessel you’re aboard, you may be able to purchase shore excursions directly through your phone, or professional photos taken onboard the ship.
One of the things that has kept Carnival at the forefront of the cruise ship industry is its focus on innovation. As it builds a powerful digital ecosystem that occupies a virtual space alongside the physical space of its cruise liners, you can expect that trend to continue.
