Assa Abloy finds first partners for CLIQ Go

Assa Abloy Security Solutions has found its first spate of partners for the new CLIQ Go security app that it thinks will be the choice of the future. The company said that a number of security providers across the UK, including High Security Locking, William Channon, and John Planck Ltd, have signed up, and have undergone specialist training in the platform’s capabilities. Assa Abloy says that CLIQ Go will bring top quality centralised security into the price and competence range of small and medium size businesses, letting them control all the mechanical and electronic security capabilities needed in “a busy working environment” from a single app.

Assa Abloy says that CLIQ Go leverages cloud technology to let business owners and authorised personnel control a site’s security from the convenience of a smartphone or tablet. That means accessing and booking out rooms or areas with a touch to let in contractors or visitors, posing no long-term security risk. Likewise, individual access rights can be instantly revoked with a touch on a screen. The combination of security and flexibility is, Assa Abloy says, a winning one that is perfectly suited to businesses that are – or want to be – growing.

Simon Wilson, National Sales Manager for ASSA CLIQ Remote at ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, said: “Issues such as lost keys can be serious security risk, and traditional mechanical locking solutions no longer offer a robust enough solution for many modern businesses. We are delighted to welcome on-board these new CLIQ Go partners, which we will be providing on-going training and support to help them maximise opportunities to promote this innovative system to their customers.”
