Amadeus’ tech makes its way to Pristina Airport

Amadeus IT, a giant in behind-the-scenes travel management that supplies software solutions to a huge number of providers, has found a new home in Pristina Airport, Kosovo. The company will provide two pieces of software – Altéa Ground Handler Departure Control Solution (DCS), and Cloud-based Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS) – to help the airport run more efficiently. Since implementing the software, Pristina has improved interoperability and reduced processing costs by as much as 20%.

Currently, the airport welcomes around 2 million travellers every year.
