
Ctrip link up with Merlin Entertainment
Ctrip are often the go-to option for Asian consumers who are looking for flights, accommodation, ticketing, packaged tours or any other form of travel service. And, the Shanghai-based company may soon be able to provide an improved service through their exciting new partnership with the world’s second largest theme entertainment company.
The Chinese travel firm have agreed a ‘strategic cooperation agreement’ with Merlin Entertainment Group, the British company who run some of the world’s most well-known attractions, such as: Madame Tussauds, Legoland resorts and Sea Life aquariums.
The agreement, which will start this month, will see the two parties cooperate on a range of aspects including system integration, innovative marketing and product diversification which will aim ‘to provide more choices and better service for consumers.’

Ctrip’s co-founder and executive chairman, Jianzhang Liang, said: "Internationalisation is a new point of growth for future development. Ctrip hopes to be the first “go out” service brand, allowing more tourists to experience the quality of Ctrip services. Ctrip will be more focused on the international development and establish more global partnerships.”
